About Anthropic

Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.

About the role

As a Solutions Marketing lead for Healthcare & Science at Anthropic, you will position Claude as the trusted AI partner for clinicians, scientific researchers, health system leaders, and the broader pharmaceutical, biotech, provider, and payer ecosystem. This work matters because AI's benefit to patients, and to the people who care for them, depends on clear, credible positioning that accounts for the realities of regulated industries. You'll set vision and strategy while staying hands-on with execution, from launching and growing vertical products like Claude Science to quarterbacking demand generation campaigns that drive measurable pipeline and adoption.

In this role, you'll own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market for healthcare and science launches, features, and campaigns, ensuring cohesive positioning across distinct audiences within the vertical. In your first 90 days, you'll stand up a new commercial pitch and webinars, support the GA of Claude Science and new product capabilities, and support multiple keynotes. You'll partner closely with Product and Research, go-to-market and sales teams, Comms, Brand and Design, and Enterprise Marketing across campaigns and content.

Key responsibilities

Own comprehensive marketing strategy for Healthcare & Science across key verticals: pharmaceutical and biotech companies, providers and health systems, payers, medical devices, and digital health

Develop differentiated positioning and messaging across solutions webpages, campaign materials, and content for distinct audiences within the vertical

Lead go-to-market for product and solution launches, including sector-specific offerings like Claude Science and relevant MCP integrations and skills across clinical research platforms, scientific literature tools, and EHR ecosystems

Build a new commercial pitch and webinar program for healthcare and science audiences

Partner with Comms on executive thought leadership about AI's potential to accelerate scientific discovery and improve patient outcomes, including flagship announcements tied to key industry initiatives

Develop a healthcare and science content calendar with social and content teams that highlights use cases, case studies, and partnership announcements

Drive thought leadership initiatives and speaking and event opportunities relevant to healthcare and science, including keynote support

Build sales enablement materials, outbound campaigns, and pipeline-driving initiatives for healthcare and science enterprise accounts and research institutions

Manage cohesive positioning across audiences as launches, features, and messaging go to market through multiple channels

Track which channels and campaigns are driving results and identify opportunities for iteration

Minimum qualifications

Have deep product marketing experience with meaningful exposure to healthcare, science, or health technology

Have worked in or with healthcare or science organizations and understand the distinct priorities and decision-making dynamics of health system, pharma, and payer buyers

Thrive in a 0-to-1 environment, building processes where none exist and navigating ambiguity across a complex stakeholder landscape

Are an adaptable generalist with competency across multiple marketing functions, including content, campaigns, social, analytics, and sales enablement

Have strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate complex AI capabilities into clear, compelling narratives for clinical, scientific, and non-technical audiences

Are a quick learner who can rapidly absorb context on diverse healthcare verticals, regulatory considerations, and evidence requirements

Excel at cross-functional collaboration and are comfortable being the connective tissue between product, sales, partnerships, communications, and marketing teams

Care about AI's potential to improve patient outcomes and accelerate scientific progress while maintaining focus on responsible, safe deployment

Are excited about Anthropic's mission to develop AI that is safe and beneficial

Preferred qualifications

8+ years of product marketing experience, with at least 2 years of experience working in health technology companies marketing healthcare, science, or research software products

Direct experience marketing to healthcare or scientist audiences, including familiarity with clinical, R&D, or commercial buying centers

Experience with event marketing at healthcare and science conferences such as HIMSS, HLTH, BIO, or the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference

A background in enterprise sales enablement, particularly in complex or regulated industries, with awareness of frameworks like HIPAA and GxP

A track record of building marketing programs from scratch at a growth-stage company

Demonstrated interest in the responsible deployment of AI in clinical and research contexts, including awareness of the ethical considerations unique to healthcare use cases

Familiarity with the competitive landscape for AI in healthcare and life sciences
