The IMF lists Chile among the five largest economies in Latin America. The StartupBlink Global Startup Ecosystem Index ranks Santiago among the top startup cities in the region, highlighting the country's potential as a beachhead for technology companies. These are just a few of the reasons why Snowflake is excited to announce that it has initiated operations in Chile.

Customers throughout the country and the rest of Latin America are increasingly turning to Snowflake, and now we will have a dedicated local team explaining the value of the Snowflake AI Data Cloud where Snowflake customers, partners and data providers can unite siloed data, discover and securely share data, and derive value from their data sets in secure and governed ways that also allow compliance with an ever-evolving regulatory landscape. Snowflake already delivers a single data experience that spans clouds and geographies, but we are thrilled to establish a physical presence in Chile and prove that with the right partner, any business can be data-driven.

Danilo Lázaro, Regional Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean at Snowflake, highlighted Chile's relevance as a technological hub in the region. “Chile is moving steadily toward a digital infrastructure model that is highly attractive to Snowflake,” he said. “The country stands out for its combination of a solid institutional framework, high levels of connectivity and highly qualified professionals, positioning it as a strategic player and a benchmark on the continent.”
