At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

Where Data Does More. Join the Snowflake team.

At Snowflake, we’re redefining what’s possible with data and AI. The Snowflake AI Data Cloud enables organizations to bring together data, applications, and AI in a secure, scalable platform designed for the cloud.

Our events programme is where the Snowflake story meets real-world impact — giving customers, partners, and developers a direct line to the platform, the people, and the possibilities of the AI Data Cloud.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Strategic Events Specialist, EMEA, you'll own complete across some of Snowflake's most visible moments in the region.

You will work across two connected portfolios:

  • Snowflake-hosted events, ranging from flagship Snowflake World Tour stops to executive roundtables, customer hospitality, developer events, and partner experiences.
  • Major third-party conferences, where Snowflake participates as a sponsor, exhibitor, speaker, or partner.

Working closely with the Strategic Events team and partners across Field Marketing, Sales, Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, Communications, and external agencies, you will translate event plans into seamless, high-quality experiences.

You will coordinate multiple programs at once, manage timelines and deliverables, support marketing and event assets, and help ensure every detail—from registration and speakers to booth logistics and onsite execution—is delivered on time and on brand.

The role is well suited to someone who is highly organized, proactive, comfortable working at pace, and excited by the challenge of delivering complex events with measurable business impact.

This role is based in our London office, with a minimum of three days per week onsite. The nature of event work also means periodic travel across EMEA and occasional evening or weekend commitments around key events. The role reports to the Sr. Event Manager, EMEA.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

SNOWFLAKE-HOSTED EVENTS

You'll own workstreams within Snowflake-owned experiences including Snowflake World Tour, Snowflake Summit activations, developer events, executive workshops and roundtables, customer dinners, and partner events.

  • Run your logistics workstreams end-to-end, from planning through onsite delivery and wrap-up.
  • Build and manage registration, track RSVPs against target, and report attendance clearly to event stakeholders.
  • Coordinate agendas, speakers, content, briefings, rehearsals, and session logistics.
  • Manage venue, catering, signage, production, branding, and swag requirements.
  • Deliver customer and executive hospitality, including VIP guests, dinners, and 1:1 meetings, in partnership with Field Marketing and Sales.
  • Work with Sales and Field Marketing to make sure priority customers and target accounts are engaged and attending
  • Ensure a seamless experience for attendees, speakers, and internal stakeholders while onsite.

THIRD-PARTY CONFERENCES

You’ll deliver Snowflake’s presence at major industry events such as Hannover Messe, Davos, Web Summit, and Gartner conferences.

Your work will include:

  • Own assigned sponsorship deliverables with event organizers — booth space, branding, speaking slots, passes, entitlements — and ensure we make the most of every opportunity.
  • Track organizer deadlines and requirements across the internal teams you depend on, flagging slippage early rather than late.
  • Manage booth build and exhibitor logistics with agencies and production partners across creative, AV, furniture, signage, and shipping.
  • Coordinate speaker and session requirements, including materials, rehearsals, deadlines, and onsite logistics.
  • Own lead capture end to end — scanning setup, staffing, data quality, reconciliation, and clean handoff to Sales and marketing ops
  • Document post-event results, observations, and recommendations that shape future planning.
  • Ensure Snowflake’s presence is consistent, engaging, and aligned with event objectives.

DATA, BUDGET, AND PERFORMANCE

Snowflake is a data company, and we hold our own events to the same standard. We expect events to earn their budget, and we expect everyone delivering them to understand how theirs contributes.

  • Own the budget lines for your workstreams, such as catering, signage, or production. Track spend against plan, prevent overages, and escalate variances before they become problems.
  • Manage purchase orders, invoices, and supplier paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Track the metrics for your areas: attendance, registration conversion, lead volume and quality, spend against forecast.
  • Protect data integrity so post-event reporting holds up — clean lists, accurate scans, sensible follow-up categorization.
  • Contribute to post-event recaps and debriefs with evidence and bring forward changes and optimizations worth making next time.
  • Maintain and contribute improvements to the trackers, templates, and documentation the team relies on, and leave things clearer than you found them.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

You'll work closely with Strategic Events, Field Marketing, Sales, Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, Communications and PR, Creative and Brand, and external agencies, venues, and production partners.

You'll lead reviews on your own workstreams, adapt how you communicate depending on who's in the room, and use detail and data to bring people with you.

WHAT YOU BRING

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • 3–5 years of experience or equivalent depth in fewer years at a high-growth company in events, field marketing, or a closely related environment; agency experience is also welcome.
  • Proven experience owning event workstreams...
