MiniCPM Desk Pet — 首个公开发布

MiniCPM Desk Pet 是一款本地优先的桌面 AI 桌宠。安装后跟随首次启动引导完成设置，即可在桌面上与 MiniCPM 聊天，并在你使用 Cursor、Claude Code、Codex 等 coding agent 时展示不同状态。

主要功能

• 本地对话：模型下载完成后，日常聊天在本地运行，无需远程推理服务
• 零手动配置：首次启动自动完成环境检查、模型下载与预热
• 桌面伙伴：悬浮聊天气泡 + 常驻桌宠，随时对话
• Agent 感知：根据 coding agent 活动展示思考、工作、完成等状态
• 智能模型下载：支持 Hugging Face / ModelScope，自动选择更合适的下载源
• 人格适配器：内置 neko 风格人格，可在 Settings → MiniCPM 中切换或导入

安装步骤

macOS

1. 下载 MiniCPM Desk Pet-*-arm64.dmg 2. 打开 DMG，将 MiniCPM Desk Pet 拖入 Applications 3. 启动应用，按引导完成设置

若 macOS 阻止首次打开，可右键应用选择 打开，或执行：

xattr -cr /Applications/MiniCPM\ Desk\ Pet.app

Windows

1. 下载 .exe 安装程序 2. 运行安装向导，按提示完成安装 3. 启动应用，按引导完成设置

首次启动

引导流程：环境检查 → 模型下载 → 模型预热 → 开始使用

默认模型：MiniCPM5-1B-GGUF。可自动下载，也可选择已有本地模型文件。

常用快捷键（macOS）

• Cmd+Shift+M：打开/关闭聊天气泡
• Cmd+Shift+T：显示/隐藏思考模式
• Esc：输入框聚焦时关闭气泡

许可证

本应用以 AGPL-3.0-only 分发。MiniCPM 模型权重单独下载。

MiniCPM Desk Pet — First Public Release

MiniCPM Desk Pet is a local-first desktop AI companion. After installation, follow the guided setup to chat with MiniCPM on your desktop and see the pet react to coding activity from tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex.

• Local chat — everyday conversations run on your machine after the model is downloaded
• Zero manual setup — first launch guides you through environment check, model download, and warm-up
• Desktop companion — floating chat bubble plus an always-on-screen pet
• Agent-aware reactions — thinking, working, finishing, and idle states based on coding-agent activity
• Smart model download — Hugging Face or ModelScope, with automatic source selection
• Persona adapters — bundled neko-style persona; switch or import adapters in Settings → MiniCPM

System Requirements

Installation

macOS

1. Download MiniCPM Desk Pet-*-arm64.dmg 2. Open the DMG and drag MiniCPM Desk Pet into Applications 3. Launch the app and follow the setup guide

If macOS blocks the first launch, right-click the app and choose Open, or run:

xattr -cr /Applications/MiniCPM\ Desk\ Pet.app

Windows

1. Download the .exe installer 2. Run the installer and complete the wizard 3. Launch the app and follow the setup guide

First Launch

Environment Check → Model Download → Model Warm-up → Ready to Use

Default model: MiniCPM5-1B-GGUF. Download automatically or select an existing local model file.

Shortcuts (macOS)

• Cmd+Shift+M — open/close chat bubble
• Cmd+Shift+T — show/hide thinking mode
• Esc — close bubble when input is focused

License

Distributed under AGPL-3.0-only. MiniCPM model weights are downloaded separately.
